The lecture entitled “Errors at the beginning of life: aneuploidy and mammalian embryogenesis” focused on the origin of aneuploidy during the early stages of mammalian embryogenesis. Prof. Cavazza presented current findings based on advanced imaging techniques and experimental approaches that contribute to elucidating the mechanisms underlying early embryonic failure.
The lecture provided a thought‑provoking overview of contemporary research in embryology and cell biology with relevance to clinical practice.
On Saturday 17 January and Wednesday 21 January, the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University welcomed prospective students, who could learn about study opportunities and take part in activities prepared at individual stands.
