Research Interests
Our research aims to understand the fundamental principles governing human oocyte and early embryo biology. We investigate the cellular and molecular mechanisms that determine developmental competence, genome stability, and reproductive success.
Using human material alongside complementary mouse and bovine models, and integrating advanced imaging technologies with molecular profiling approaches, we examine how cellular architecture, chromosome dynamics, and regulatory networks shape early development.
Bridging basic cell biology with clinically relevant questions, our work connects mechanistic discovery with translational challenges in reproductive medicine, including infertility and reproductive ageing.
