Here we introduce open-source platform for construction of affordable luminometer, capable of real-time, in-cell monitoring of luciferase activity. This device is portable and can be placed into various types of cell incubators.
Additionally, this device is capable to monitor the signal from Luc (firefly), NanoLuc vectors, and Rluc (Renilla - not shown in the paper) in living cell cultures.
